Pixie Hollow Chat

|  Pixie Hollow Toolbar Pixie Hollow is a place where Fairies can interact and chat with other Fairies. Using the toolbar at the bottom of their gameplay area, Fairies can communicate with their fellow players through preset phrases, dictionary approved text, or emotes.

Chat Levels
There are two different chat levels in Pixie Hollow, SpeedChat and SpeedChat Plus. The chat level can be changed by using the Account Manager and is subject to Parental Control.

- All Fairies can talk to each other using the SpeedChat option. SpeedChat provides Fairies with a menu of pre-approved phrases for them to say. A few clicks of the mouse is all that is required for Fairies to communicate with SpeedChat. There are many different SpeedChat phrases available to Fairies (see Pixie Hollow SpeedChat Phrases) and the option to unlock even more through the Pixie Hollow Clickables Collection.
- To use SpeedChat, click on the SpeedChat button on the toolbar:
- This will open up the SpeedChat drop down Menu. From here, browse the categories and select what you wish to say

SpeedChat Plus
With SpeedChat Plus, in addition to being able to use all the normal SpeedChat phrases, players can also type their own phrases with their keyboard. SpeedChat Plus only allows players to use approved words in the game's SpeedChat dictionary. Words not in the dictionary will flash red to let the player know that it cannot be said. SpeedChat Plus is filtered, moderated, and under parental control. Parents can choose whether or not they want to allow their child to use SpeedChat Plus using the Account Manager.

- To use the keyboard feature of SpeedChat Plus, click the blue chat bar and enter your message. Any words that are not "Fairy-friendly" will flash red. Type your message and then either press "Enter" on your keyboard or click on the yellow arrow to send.

Chatting with Other Fairies
In Pixie Hollow, you can choose to chat with the whole Meadow or to "whisper" to just one Fairy using Whisper mode. When chatting to the meadow, your words will appear in a bubble over your head. In whisper mode, messages will appear on the bottom left of the screen.
Chatting to the Meadow
Normally, all Fairies in the Meadow will be able to see what you have to say. Your messages will appear over your head and stay there for a set amount of time. Even if you are flying around the meadow, your message will appear above you as you travel around.

Whisper Mode

- In whisper mode, your Fairy can chat directly with another Fairy without having everybody in the meadow see what you are saying. To whisper to another fairy, click on the whisper button on their profile. You can access a Fairies profile by clicking on them, or if they are your friend, from your friends list.

- Clicking the whisper button will allow you to enter whisper mode. In whisper mode, a green tab appears above the blue chat bar and shows you who you are whispering to. Messages sent to the Fairy you are whispering with appear to the left of the Pixie Hollow chat toolbar.

To exit or enter Whisper Mode, use the Whisper button on your toolbar: 
Emotes

- Show off some Fairy attitude using the Fairy Emotes.
- To use an emote, click on the "Emote" button:
- This will open up the menu of Pixie Hollow Emotes. Click on the emote you wish to use and the emote will appear over your head.

- Currently Fairies can choose from the following emotes: Happy, Excited, Angry, Shocked, Confused, Grossed Out, Teasing, Embarrassed, Laughing, Scared, Sad, Winking, Innocent, Cake, Flowers, Sun, Rain, Sleepy, Rock, Paper, Scissors. (See also, Pixie Hollow Emotes)
